Introduction As a new school year begins, I find that we should also begin with new habits and goals that we can share with our students your children.

My goal this year is to get each of you to spend time with your children reading to them and with them. To do this I will be sending home or posting tips twice a month.

There is a private discussion board where you can leave messages or ask me questions in regards to reading.

At the end of the year, if you have left a message at least once a month with your students initials at the end of the message your student will receive 2 extra percentage points on his final grade.
